The majority of the LGBTQ+ scene in Gran Canaria is situated in the legendary Yumbo Centre in Playa del Ingles. It's a vibrant gay nightlife centre with over 30 bars. This multi level shopping centre transforms into a hub of bars, clubs, and drag shows after dark! You will find a great contrast of bars from the camp Centre Stage with tambourines on the bar to play with, to the glamourous drag shows like Sparkles Showbar and the many cruise bars, one of the newest Tom's Cruise Bar was very popular. Our favourite bar that we kept returning to was Mardi Gras which had lots of drink offers and we found a very welcoming bar just outside of the Yumbo Rainbow Room.

Gran Canaria hosts two of Europe's most significant Pride celebrations, turning the island into a vibrant hub of equality, sunshine and celebrations. The main event Maspolomas Pride in May, often attracts over 300,000 visitors and typically kicks off the global pride season.

Playa del ingles in Gran Canaria trully offers something for everyone, as well as the many bars on offer, you will find lots of gay owed cafe's, massage parlours, swinging bars, sex cinemas, cottages, the nutorious dunes, and the many gay clothing optional resorts. It's wild, in your face and not for the faint hearted!
